2021年1月14日,蒲勇健教授接受CGNT(中国国际电视台新闻频道)采访,蒲教授在采访中提到:“TOD模式(Transit-oriented Design,公共交通导向的设计)适用于成都和重庆这样的山区城市。首先,交通核心可以减轻单一交通方式的压力。其次,它可以为该地区带来更多的动态消费。川渝地区交通资源丰富,现在的关键是将这些优势结合在一起。

Southwest China on the Rise: High-speed rail project helps make Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle a reality

China's first commercial center with a high-speed rail sitting beneath it has welcomed nearly one million customers since opening in the new year. The sight of high-speed trains going through the shopping center has made it yet another attraction in the city of Chongqing. But its influence is more far-reaching, as CGTN's Ma Ke reports. 

The mountainous city of Chongqing is never short of spots attractive to locals and tourists alike. And now there's a new sight in town, in one of the oldest CBDs in the city.The new high-speed rail cuts through a business center overlapping the old Three Gorges Square, which has fallen behind amid the shooting demand of consumption.SUN JINGLI Shopping Mall Leasing Director, Jinsha Paradise Walk "When designing this center, we've taken metropoles like Hong Kong and Tokyo as examples. These are all regional financial and business centers with large populations and complicated landscape. And they're using transit-oriented design logics to lower the burden of heavy traffic."The old Three Gorges Square attracted developers to build large residential centers in the district in the early 2000s, which has led to serious traffic jams.The new CBD aims to divert commuters, residents and tourists by creating a core featuring five types of transportation.SUN JINGLI Shopping Mall Leasing Director, Jinsha Paradise Walk "The high-speed train station is located on the fourth floor below ground. For other underground floors, there are bus stations, taxi lanes, public parking and so on. We've also designed nearly 100 elevators to help divert the 300 thousand people who travel across this area."MA KE Chengdu "Every couple of hours, a high-speed train like this one departs from this platform headed for Chengdu. Now that the line's speed has been increased to 350 kilometers per hour, passengers can go back and forth between the twin cities in only 62 minutes."As the rising fourth pole of China's economy, the twin cities of Chengdu and Chongqing are looking to build a one-hour traffic circle to lower time and costs for goods and personnel.PROF. PU YONGJIAN Chongqing University "The TOD model is suitable for mountainous cities like Chengdu and Chongqing. First of all, a traffic core can help lower the pressure on a single form of transportation. Secondly, it helps bring more dynamic consumption to the area. The Sichuan-Chongqing region is rich in transportation resources. The key now is to bring these strengths together."The twin city economic circle has just welcomed its one-year anniversary. 2000年代初,旧的三峡广场吸引了开发商在该地区建造大型住宅中心,导致了严重的交通拥堵。

新的中央商务区旨在通过创建具有五种交通类型的核心枢纽来将通勤者、居民和游客分流。

金沙天街购物中心的租赁总监孙女士说:“高铁站位于地下四层。在地下其他楼层,有汽车站、出租车道、公共停车场等。我们还设计了近百部电梯来为该地区的30万人分流。”

成都记者马珂报道:“每隔几个小时,像这样的高铁就从这个站台开往成都。现在,该线路的速度已提高到每小时350公里,乘客在两个城市之间来回往返仅需62分钟。”

作为中国经济增长的第四极,成都和重庆这两个城市正在寻求建立一个一小时的交通圈,以减少时间和物资成本。

重庆大学教授蒲勇健说:“TOD模式适用于成都和重庆这样的山区城市。首先,交通核心可以减轻单一交通方式的压力。其次,它可以为该地区带来更多的动态消费。川渝地区交通资源丰富,现在的关键是将这些优势结合在一起。”

成渝双城经济圈刚刚迎来了一周年纪念日。与此相关的是,该地区已有200多个基础设施、先进技术和信息产业项目。CGTN马珂,重庆报道。
